The Leon Wyczółkowski National Painting Competition is one of the most important events dedicated to contemporary painting in Poland, organised by the Bydgoszcz branch of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers (ZPAP) since 2012. The competition also serves as a tribute to its patron – an artist inextricably linked to our region, who bequeathed his collection to Bydgoszcz and spent the final years of his life in the surrounding area.
